University Masters in Multimedia and Video Creation (1st level)

The new languages of multimedia and video are invading all types of artistic and social communication and are characterised by complex competences which require professionals with specific skills.
This Masters has its origins in the planning and teaching collaboration between the Verona Academy of Fine Arts, the Faculty of Motor Sciences and the Faculty of Sciences of Verona University.
The experience of the three institutes working together has led to this proposal for a training course for a new professional figure who will combine the knowledge and skills developed over the years in the three different contexts, which have rarely been brought together in the past. In particular we aim to develop the skills needed by a professional manager of multimedia performative and video projects.
The professional figure of “manager of multimedia and video projects” is an innovation of great cultural and technological value, and is sought after particularly in the world of work and of artistic production connected to multimedia and movement which finds expression in the creation of videos, theatre performances and installations.
The course is also run in collaboration with Run Multimedia of Verona, a leading company in the field of multimedia production. Run Multimedia provides teachers and laboratories both for the teaching part of the Masters and for work experience. The collaboration with this production company offers participants more opportunity to acquire direct experience in the specific field of work by involvement in the production of specific products in this sector.
